This was a pleasure to mix! As you can see, I only used stock protools 11 plug-ins because I believe they sound great. If I'm not hearing things quite the way I want I use a combination of plugins until I get there. I do track with outboard compression and eq on the way into the computer. I like to use a lot of automation and panning for direction, height and color - tension and release. Will is a fantastic player and arranger. These sessions had little direction other than what Will had in his head...and we kept steadily pushing forward with a fast pace! For the best listening experience, listen on full range speakers!!
